The Challenge

Bundaberg Brewed Drinks needed a trade show table that met these key requirements:

1. Must be light.
2. Must be flat-packed.
3. Must be easy to assemble.

The Solution

Due to the complexity of this project, we used Solid Works to develop a design that allowed each part of the table to be removed, repaired or remade as required, allowing for ease of maintenance into the future.

We were able to achieve the rustic look synonymous with Bundaberg Brewed Drinks’ brand by utilising engineered composite species plywood. This resulted in a final weight of only 14kg, with the table measuring 1500 x 600 x 900mm.

Threaded inserts granted ease of assembly, needing only 8 screws to assemble. Sales staff were able to carry the table freely with the included custom-built case and assemble on-site where needed.

Bundaberg Brewed Drinks greatly appreciated our attention to detail. We ensured that the end cuts of the plywood were made to include real timber inserts which were processed to emulate end-grain solid timber, making the table look and feel more authentic.
